Haul-In Riding
Members of the community are welcome to haul in to use our arena for day use. We strongly recommend that everyone wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet. Boots and long pants are required. The fee for this is $5.00 per horse. The speed limit on the gravel portion of our drive is 5 MPH.
Only horses with no visible or audible signs of illness are welcome.
Trainers who desire to give lessons must also make prior arrangements and provide proof of Liability Insurance.
In order to use our facility, you must first fill out and sign a Liability Release Form (one time only). There is a drop box for this and payment in our West Aisle by the telephone.
Please clean up after yourself and your horse anywhere on the grounds. This includes manure, hay, food wrappers, soda cans etc. In the arena we have provided picks and muck buckets for manure.
Currently, these time slots are not available for haul in rides unless you are a part of the following:
- Tuesday Nights from 6:30 - 7:30 Lonestars & Rising Star Riders 4-H
- Last Sunday Evening of each month through April from 6:00-Close PHHS OHSET
April: 10 & 11 Steve Rother Clinic, Arena closed 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
April 17, First Horse Show of the Summer Saddle Series, Arena Closed until show finish.
April 18, Flying Lead Change Clinic. Arena closed from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
May 8, Second Show of the Summer Saddle Series, Arena Closed until show finish.
May 22, Open Horse Show put on by the Oregon Pony of the Americas Club http://www.orpoac.org
